FAQs

Q: Why are you doing this?

A: This is a labor of love that started in 2018, being 100% volunteer-run. We are people who have experienced erasing shame towards healthy living and we want to help others through our open honest talk. We’re contributing to erasing shame and removing stigma from the topics that are rarely talked about, but need to be talked about, so that people would have better relationships, personal insights, mental health, and whatever it is that shame keeps people away from what is good.

We started this online community as an on-going discussion of erasing shame together. It’s too important to keep talking about this and not wait until all the organizational resources, nuts, and bolts are perfectly in place.

Over the years, we’ve received great encouragement along the way, thanks to listeners like you! In November 2021, we launched this podcast as a nonprofit project (via fiscal sponsorship) so people could donate and support our basic expenses.

Then in November 2022, we launched a nonprofit initiative, Christian Asian Mental Health (CAMH), to advance compassion and care through ministry with faith communities, and moved this Erasing Shame podcast under CAMH as its digital outreach.

Thank you for being on this mental health journey with us as we continue to evolve and grow to serve many more in various ways.

Your partnership and participation is vital for this work! If you know someone that wants to help with the podcast, let’s talk.
